I am the practice founder and clinical leader, dedicated to staying on top of the latest research and developments in the industry. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition at the University of Stellenbosch.
After completing my community service year in the Siyanda district, surrounding Upington, I relocated back to Cape Town.
I started the practice in January 2013. During this time I also had a half day post at Mowbray Maternity Hospital and a 12 month locum position with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of South Africa.
At the start of 2015, I decided to go into private practice on a full time basis. I believe that the exposure and experience I had gained during the first few years has shaped and refined my skills and abilities as a clinical dietitian.
I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as well as SASPEN (South African Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition). I also attend ongoing training to keep up to date with the latest research in nutrition.
I am dedicated to results, especially when it comes to the the well-being of my patients. I follow a holistic approach when evaluating and making recommendations, and will assist you with all the steps that are needed to implement the suggested dietary changes. My personal take on food and nutrition: Prevention is better than cure and food should be enjoyed.
