I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition at the University of Stellenbosch in 2016.
In 2017, I moved to Douglas, a rural town in the Northern Cape, to complete my community service year. During this time, I had the opportunity to be creative and refine my skills by working in a variety of challenging situations. Furthermore, I learnt that perseverance and patience is key in achieving one's goals.
At the start of 2019, I joined the team at Cape Gate Dietitians in Cape Town. As a dietitian, I firmly believe that knowledge is power and strive to empower my clients with knowledge and confidence to make the best possible choices for their lifestyle.
I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and a member of the Association of Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA) which requires me to stay up to date with the latest research and developments in the industry.
While I am very passionate about proper nutrition from the start of life and a firm believer in "prevention is better than cure" - it is important to remember that it is never too late to make changes towards a better future!
